Our location
We are located in Böckstein – a part of the well known health resort Bad Gastein. The old town centre "Altböckstein" – offers a very picturesque panorama with the popular church "Maria vom guten Rat" – a beautiful baroque building, and the old mining community!

The settlement was established in 1741, at the height of the Gastein Gold Rush. It displays a unique combination of buildings, once used for different parts of the gold extraction process.

can reach Altböckstein in just five minutes by the Elisabeth promenade.

Our house is very close to the unique Gastein Healing Tunnels, which makes it an ideal base
for a recreational health vacation.

For sports fans: The high altitude skiing area of Sportgastein is minutes away. With snow guaranteed until the beginning of May and a breathtaking panorama, your skiing holiday will be unforgettable.  Sportgastein, known locally as Nassfeld, is well worth visiting in the summer too. The magnificent backdrop and the superb alpine pasture with numerous traditional huts makes
it ideal for hiking, and eating. A true experience of nature in the national park Hohe Tauern!

When you stay with us, everything Gastein valley offers is within your reach. The bus stop is only two minutes away from the house and just a few minutes later you are in Bad Gastein centre,
with the Felsentherme, famous waterfall and Stubnerkogel Gondola.

We have several parking spaces in front of the house and they are naturally free of charge for guests.
